Jill McLeod is an artist based in Natimuk whose semi-abstracted paintings and drawings have origins in the Wimmera landscape. This new series of work explores painting through metaphoric 'saltscapes' reflecting on natural and external factors at play in the region. McLeod's interests lie in creating rich, painterly surfaces which are layered with meaning, emotion and texture.
