| For this exhibition I have chosen two colourful handmade silkscreen prints. In both these multi edition prints, I have played around with the edges of the images, abandoning straight lines.
Cala di Corricella is an idyllic fishing harbour on the Island of Procida near Naples . The village is like stage scenery dropping to the quay below where children play and fishermen mend their nets.
The bold shapes of the Birds of Paradise flowers and foliage lend themselves to abstraction as they jut out of the picture plane. |
